Picker is a line follower robot which follows the white path on a black surface.
When Picker sees an obstacle, Picker stops, grabs the obstacle with its hand and throw the obstacle in its wagon. Then it continues to follow the path.
Picker has 3 CNY70 sensors to track the line and one additional CNY70 sensor to detect the obstacles in front of its hand.
The body of the robot and the arm was made of 3 mm plexiglass.
Two servo motors were used for the robot arm and hand of the Picker.
Picker was powered by one 9 V alkaline battery.
PIC16F628A was used as microcontroller for the robot.
L293D motor driver was used for the driving of the DC motors.
Servo motors were controlled by the microcontroller.
