Sound follower robot detects the sounds like clapping or flicking of fingers and tracks that sounds until it reaches the source of these sounds.

The robot has three sound detector sensors in order to detect the sounds. These sensors can be set to their optimum sensitivity by using the trimpots on each sensor circuit.

Sound follower robot is activated with sound. The robot moves as long as it detects the sounds.

The robot was powered only by 2 AA alkaline batteries.

PIC16F628A was used as microcontroller for the robot.

The motor control part of the circuit was prepared with two BDX53 darlington transistors.
